Residents of Hamo village in Qamishli countryside expel a convey of American occupation forces

Hasakah, (ST) – The people of Hamo village in Qamishli countryside, with the support of a checkpoint of the Syrian Arab Army, confronted a military convoy of the American occupation and expelled it from the area and forced it to return.

A number of village residents told SANA reporter that the convoy, which included 6 military armored vehicles, tried to enter the village, backed by two helicopters of the occupation in the air. The people of the village confronted the convoy with the support of an army checkpoint and expelled it from the area.

The sources indicated that the villagers burned the American flag on the international road in front of the convoy, chanting slogans of support for the Syrian Arab Army and denouncing the illegal presence of the American occupation forces.

On the 31st of last month, the people of the village of Tal Dahab in the northern countryside of Hasakah, with the support of a Syrian Arab Army checkpoint, expelled a military convoy of the American occupation, accompanied by a four-wheel drive vehicle belonging to the “SDF” militia, from the vicinity of their village.

Al-Jazeera region witnesses repeated cases of residents expelling columns of the American occupation and forcing them to retreat with the support of the Syrian Arab Army. This comes in the context of the continuation of the popular movement rejecting the presence of any occupying force on Syrian territories.
