Residents of Al-Mteinieh village prevent a US convoy from passing through their village to Qamishli

The locals in Al-Mteinieh village in the southeastern countryside of Qamishli on Saturday intercepted a convoy of military vehicles that belong to the US occupation. They prevented the vehicles from crossing into the village and forced them to return from where they come.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the convoy, which consisted of several armored vehicles accompanied by some cars affiliated to US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia, tried to pass through the village and head towards Qamishli, but the locals threw stones at the convoy and broke the window of a vehicle and forced the convoy to retreat.

On the 17th of November, 2021, the locals in Tal Dahab village in Qamishli southern countryside also intercepted US occupation vehicles and prevented them from passing through the village toward Qamishli.
