Researcher Abdul Razzaq Al-Homsi: Ebla Library archive covers the entire history of the ancient world

Damascus (ST): The  civilization of Ebla and its ancient history was the title of the lecture held by the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus for the researcher Abdul Razzaq Al-Homsi, in the presence of a group of people interested in archeology.

At the beginning of the lecture, Nikolai Sukhov, Director of the Russian Cultural Center, explained that the lecture is part of a series of activities to highlight the ancient Syrian civilization that was established throughout ancient history.
Al-Homsi began his lecture by pointing out that Syria is not only the cradle of civilization, but rather its origin in all its stages.
According to al-Homsi, cities appeared in Syria since the ninth millennium BC in the form of unorganized human gatherings, but they took the form of an organized gathering in the sixth millennium BC in the city of Boqrus. These cities were characterized by being surrounded by walls and gates, and possessed a political and economic system, and contained organized streets and houses.
