Representatives from several countries participate in the first session of the permanent office of the Arab Lawyers Union in Damascus
Representatives from the Arab Lawyers Union from Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt will participate in the conference, which will be held at the Damascus Sheraton Hotel.
In a statement, the head of the Bar Association, Firas Fares, said that the number of participants in the meeting is about 140 lawyers, pointing out that since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria, the Arab Lawyers Union has had firm positions and has proven its patriotism and Arabism, pointing out that all decisions issued by its international meetings and conferences confirm the sovereignty of Syria and its unity, stopping the aggression against it and preventing external interference in its affairs.
Fares pointed out that holding the session in Damascus confirms the positions of the Union and its solidarity with Syria in the face of aggression and siege.
