Hahsakeh, (ST) -The correspondent of  the Syrian “Al-Ekhbariya” TV channel, Muhammad Al-Saghir,  who has been  kidnapped since the beginning of 2019 by the  US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia began a hunger strike after his health deteriorated as a result of the bad practices of the militia against him.

Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)’s reporter stated that, “Al-Saghir, whose health condition has witnessed a continuous deterioration as a result of the poor conditions of detention and his failure to receive the necessary health care, began today to carry out a hunger strike inside his place of detention by the militia.

Al-Saghir is carrying out a hunger strike in protest against the conditions of detention and the ill-treatment he receives.”

The “SDF” militia has kidnapped Al-Saghir after filming and documenting the crimes of the American occupation in Hasakah Governorate, especially its deliberate burning of agricultural crops during the 2019 season with the aim of starving its people, in addition to its stealing Syrian wealth in its areas of occupation, especially oil and smuggling it with the support of the American occupation forces.
