Repairing railway sector priority, says Transport Minister

DAMASCUS,(ST)- Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim, The Minister of Transport, underscored  that the ministry is exerting strenuous efforts  to repair the railway sector-hit  by terrorist acts.

“The ministry is keen to upgrade  the work’s level  to secure the rail transport and raise  it to the highest levels of world security.”

The Minister’s remarks came during a meeting   with the Head of vocational Union of transport.

The minister called on labor unions   to communicate  with the  Arab and world unions to explain the Syrian government’s orientations as regards  combating terrorism and its constant seeking to attain  a political solution to the crisis in Syria .
