Renowned Syrian Actress Defies Terrorists who Kidnapped her Father

CAIRO,(ST)_  Renowned Syrian actress Raghda confirmed that kidnapping her old father in Aleppo by the armed terrorist groups will not change her affiliation and love to her homeland, leader and the  Syrian army, stressing  strong belief that Syria will be victorious and her position will be unchanged even if they kidnap her children.

“My  loyalty to the homeland , to  President Bashar al-Assad and  the Syrian Arab army will not change  and I will never compromise it, all my lifetime,” Raghda added in a statement to SANA.

She indicated that her father is sick and suffers a severely fragile memory and that publishing his picture by the kidnappers without a video indicates that he did not say what is attributed to him.

She continued that the kidnappers bargained her to change her position and she refused to pay a ransom they requested because:” I refuse to be blackmailed and if they want to kill him, let’s them do so because he will be a new witness on their brutality.”
