Rehabilitation of the power station in Saida in the liberated countryside of Idlib begins

Rehabilitation work has begun for a power station in Saida, in the liberated southern countryside of Idlib, with a capacity of 230 kilovolts.
The governor of Idlib Thaer Salhab explained that the works started today for rehabilitating the power station in Saida, and it is expected that after the completion of the work within months, the electrical system will be ready. The work is being implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity, the governor added, indicating that the station, once completed, will feed the entire liberated countryside of Idlib.
In turn, the Director General of the General Electricity Company of Idlib Governorate, Eng. Mamdouh Abdo, stated that the Saida power station is one of the 3 power stations at the governorate level with a capacity of 230 kilovolts, pointing out that the station, which costs 383 million Syrian pounds to rehabilitate civil works, will supply the stations of Sinjar, Khan Shaykhun, and the city line of Maarat al-Numan.
