Referendum: The majority of residents of the Slovak city of Silac refuse to establish an American military base in their city

Bratislava (ST): The majority of residents of the Slovakian city of Silac expressed their refusal to establish any US military base on their lands, in a referendum organized in the city in conjunction with the holding of local elections in the country.
75 percent of the participants in the referendum agreed that the city council would take all necessary measures to prevent the establishment of a military base for the United States in any way in the lands of Silac Airport and its vicinity.
This result represents a severe blow to the Slovak government, which is working to strengthen the US military presence in the country and increasingly engaging in the Ukrainian war, by sending weapons  to the Kiev regime as it did before by sending the S-300 air defense system and providing various aircraft and weapons.
