DAMASCUS,(ST)_State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs has underscored that preparations are being made to pave the ground for the return of the residents of al-Hseneyeh town in Damascus countryside.
Ali Haidar, who was speaking to reporters following his meeting with the UNRWA Director in Syria Michael Kingsley-Nyinah, said that the infrastructures in al-Hseneyeh town are being rehabilitated.
He asserted that the ministry works on solving the problems to alleviate citizens’ suffering in accordance with available capabilities and in cooperation with all the parties concerned.
On the other hand, the minister blamed the Takfiri terrorist organizations for hindering reconciliations in Yarmouk camp, referring to the terrorists’ repeated attacks that target humanitarian aid distribution in the camp.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency’s Director said that Syria government spares no effort to offer support to the Arab Palestinian refugees in its territories.
Nyinah asserted the UNRWA’s keenness to offer humanitarian aid to the affected people in the camp of al-Yarmouk in Damascus.
From January 30 until November 29, some 55.374 food parcels have arrived the camp, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The aid have been distributed with the Syrian government’s support and the High Relief Committee’s observation.
