Reconciliation minister meets locals of town in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Reconciliation Minister has met many local people of Harran al-Awamid town that lies in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus, the official news agency (SAN) reported Monday.

Ali Haidar asked the Harran al-Awamid town’s locals to form a committee to be responsible for communication with the ministry and concerned circles in order to guarantee the return of the locals to the town.

He underscored the need for drawing up an action plan for the return of the locals to their houses after Syrian army restored stability and peace to the town.

The locals expressed their readiness to draw up mechanisms in cooperation with concerned circles to guarantee the protection of their town from the armed terrorist organizations.

On May 30, 2013, Syrian army drove terrorists out of Harran al-Awamid town and other towns in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
