Recently dismantled terrorist cells linked to the Zionist entity, says Iranian Minister of Security

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Security Minister Syed Khatib announced that more than 12 terrorist cells were recently dismantled by the security services in a short period. He said that the roots of these cells, which planned sabotage, are linked to the Zionist entity.

Iran’s Fars News Agency quoted Khatib as saying at a meeting of the Security Provision Council in Zanjan province that these terrorist cells planned revenge with various operations and through creating chaos. He indicated that the security services thwarted all these attempts.

Khatib touched on the ban imposed by the enemies on Iran, and said that these enemies know that this ban did not make us weak, but rather strengthened the Iranian people’s self-confidence. He stressed that the hostile plans were exposed to the people of Iran.
