Receiving Those Covered by The Settlement Process Continues in The City of Deir ez-Zor and The Countryside of Raqqa

The comprehensive settlement process continued in the two settlement centers in the city of Deir ez-Zor and in al-Sabkha in the eastern countryside of Raqqa, which includes wanted civilians, fleeing military personnel, and those who have failed the mandatory and reserve services.

Dozens of citizens flocked today, Thursday, to the two centers to settle their status despite the cold weather and the obstacles as well as the arbitrary measures taken by the “Qasad” militia against the citizens in some areas of Al-Jazeera.

A number of dignitaries and tribal figures indicated that the settlement is “a valuable opportunity for the wanted persons to return to their normal lives, contribute to the reconstruction of the homeland, reunite their children, and constitute a positive turning point in their lives and the lives of their families.”

One of those who settled their status made it clear that he did not join the compulsory service but he settled his situation to join the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army, calling on all the young men who have  failed to serve the military to take advantage of this opportunity and join this settlement that allows those who joined it to perform service within the Governorate of Deir ez-Zor.

In al-Sabkhah center in Raqqa countryside, the settlement process for the people of the province continued with dozens of the citizens joining the settlement despite the obstacles that the “Qasad” militia, affiliated to the American occupation, is still creating in front of those wishing to settle their status in order to return to their normal lives.

The settlement process will continue in the coming days to pave the way in front of all those involved in the settlement and those wishing to join it.
