Reactions to the brutal Israeli aggression on Beirut southern suburb

Many countries, forces, parties and personalities have condemned the barbaric Israeli aggression that targeted the southern suburb of Beirut.

Russia strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, indicating that these attacks violate the Lebanese sovereignty and increase the cycle of violence in the Middle East.

Sputnik Agency quoted the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as saying on Friday at a meeting of the UN Security Council: “Moscow strongly condemns the Israeli attacks that violate the Lebanese sovereignty,” warning that “the Middle East region today is once again on the brink of a major war.”

Meanwhile, the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the attacks launched by the Zionist entity today on the southern suburbs of Beirut, stressing that it is “a blatant war crime that reflects the nature of state terrorism practiced by this entity.”

Pezeshkian stressed that “the crimes of the Zionist entity against the people of Palestine and Lebanon are evidence of the inability of the international community to stop the state terrorism machine, and prove that this entity is the greatest threat to regional and international peace and security,” calling on all countries of the world to condemn this crime.
