Re-pumping water from the Alouk water station after being cut off by the Turkish occupation for a week
On January 23, the General Organization for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate restarted the Alouk water station after its work was stopped by the Turkish occupation forces seven days ago.
The Director General of the General Organization for Drinking Water, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Okla, stated that 21 of the wells of the station started working and the tanks in the Alouk area have begun to be filled.
The Turkish occupation forces had stopped operating the Alouk water station, which supplies the city of Hasakah and the western countryside with drinking water, for the eighteenth time since it occupied Ras Al-Ain since November 2019.
