The farmers of Raqqa governorate continue to harvest the cotton crop for the current season, as the cultivated area in the liberated countryside has reached 568 hectares.
The Director of Agriculture in Raqqa, Engineer Muhammad al-Khadli, stated on October 20ththat the harvesting operations started at the beginning of this month, and the marketed quantity has reached 291 tons to date.
Al-Khadli pointed out that the cotton harvest operations usually continue until the end of November.
