Governor of Raqqa Abdul Razzaq Khalifa and the OCHA delegation, led by Muhammad Mataran, head of OCHA office in Qamishli discussed enhancing cooperation on projects being implemented in the governorate, and the need to ensure actual response to work as to empower and stabilize the Syrian returnees from Lebanon in their homes after they sought safty due to the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
During the meeting, held at the temporary headquarters of the governorate in the city of Sabkha, the governor demanded the provision of flour due to the great pressure on bakeries, the maintenance of Maadan Hospital, the expansion of school classes to include children returning from Lebanon, and the maintenance of water networks, treatment plants and pumping stations.
For thrir part, members of OCHA delegation explained the nature of the work and projects being implemented in the governorate.
