Raqqa Governor and UNHCR Representative discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation

Raqqa, (ST) – Raqqa Governor Abdul Razzaq Khalifa discussed with Najat Belkacem, Assistant Resident Representative of the UNHCR in Syria, the projects implemented by the Commission during 2024 and qays of increasing its support.

During the meeting held at the temporary headquarters of Raqqa Governorate in the city of Sabkha, Khalifa stressed the importance of the support provided by the Commission to community centers in the governorate and the projects implemented there.

He pointed  to the need to continue and enhance cooperation between the two sides to achieve common humanitarian goals.

For her part, Belkacem expressed the Commission’s readiness to continue cooperation, implement more projects, and hold courses.
