Rally in Frankfurt to Support Syria in Confrontation of Terrorism

BERLIN-The Syrians in Germany as well as many Arabs and Germans yesterday organized a rally to voice their solidarity with Syria and the Syrian Army in the battle against terrorism.

The Committee of Solidarity with Syria in Frankfurt organized the rally under the slogan “Three Years of War on Syria, Stop Intervention”.

Participants in the event condemned foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs and called for putting an end to direct and indirect international actions and stances which contribute to disseminating terrorism  and fueling war in Syria.

In a statement to SANA, spokesperson of the committee “Berri B Sito” said “the war on Syria, waged by the West and some Arab countries and backed by the Zionist entity, aimed at destabilizing Syria, weakening its economy and draining its resources.”

“The Syrian Community in Germany and the Committee of Solidarity with Syria are keen to defend the homeland and uncover the reality of events in the country which some Western and Arab media outlets keep trying to distort and falsify before the public opinion,” she added.
