Rally in Deir Ezzor to Welcome Syrian Arab Army’s Entry to Manbej, Condemn Turkish Threats

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- Citizens in the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor on Friday held a rally in one of the city’s main squares to welcome the Syrian Arab Army’s entry to Manbej and to condemn the threats of the Turkish regime of launching aggression on the Syrian territories.

The participants raised the Syrian flags and chanted slogans greeting the Syrian army and glorifying its heroic deeds, expressing their happiness over the army’s entry to Manbej in Aleppo’s northern countryside and the raising of the Syrian flag over this area.

 They renewed their determination to confront the aspirations of the Turkish regime against their lands which have been cleaned from terrorism by the hero Syrian army. They condemned the Turkish threats of launching an aggression on the Syrian lands, affirming that the Syrians will continue to be united against any aggression so as to preserve the territorial integrity of Syria.

Army’s entry to Manbej a strong message to those who dream of dividing Syria

In Hassaka, northeastern Syria, the council of the dignitaries of the Syrian tribes and clans affirmed that the entry of the Syrian Arab Army to Manbej is a strong message to all those who dream of dividing Syria.

In a statement on Friday, the council said “today is a glorified day as the Syrian Arab army’s units have entered the city of Manbej and trampled on the dreams of Turkey’s Erdogan and his terrorist agents who are also the agents and tools of America and the West”.

The council, which greeted the army’s strategic military achievement, called on the political and military leaders of the so-called “Democratic Syria Forces” (DSF) to speed up handing over the remaining parts of the lands under their control to the Syrian army.It also urged the DSF to hand over all the state institutions, which they had controlled, to the Syrian state in order to build confidence, to deal a heavy blow to Erdogan’s geographical and political aspirations in Syria and to foil the American-Turkish scheme which aimed at giving Syria’s northern and northeastern areas to the Wahhabis, the agents of Erdogan, America and the Zionist entity.

The council reiterated that “the Syrians are all united in support for one army, which the Syian Arab army, and one great leader, who is President Bashar Al-Assad”.
