Rallies in Aleppo and Hasakah in solidarity with Russia

Students and teachers at Aleppo University on Thursday organized a stand in solidarity with Russia at the university’s square to express their support for the Russian leadership and people in the confrontation of the western-American policies that target Russia’s stability and security, according to SANA reporter.

Also in Hasakah, the citizens organized a car rally to express their rejection of the western hostile policies towards Russia.

Participants in the rally carried placards stressing the Syrian people’s support for Russia’s efforts to restore balance in the world and end western arrogance and unipolar policies.

They reiterated that Russia has backed just causes and confronted takfiri terrorism created by the US and western administrations to undermine the sovereignty and stability of the region’s countries and to dominate their resources.

“Russia is a peace and stability-loving country that rejects arrogance and the policies of interference in countries’ affairs pursued by the United States and the western countries,” one of the participants said, stressing the Syrians’ support for the Russian policies.

Another participant said that “Russia stands in the face of the schemes that aim at spreading Nazism and terrorism in the world. The entire world should know that Russia has strongly backed people’s just causes and confronted the American hostile policies.”
