Raisi : West’s suppression of students and professors in solidarity with Palestinian people is a scandal
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has strongly condemned the oppression practiced carried out by West against pro-Palestinian students, stressing that these practices are a scandal for those who claim freedom of expression.
“The suppression of anti-Zionist student protests and the beating and arrest of professors and students in Western universities, especially in the United States, is another scandal for self-proclaimed advocates of freedom of expression.” Raisi said during his cabinet’s meeting on Sunday .
Iranian president indicated that thanks to the pure blood of the martyrs of the Gaza Strip, the true nature of Western civilization has been exposed and has become more clear to the peoples of the world, after human rights advocates have shown that they only care about their power and dominance.
Raisi expressed his appreciation for the role of the media in revealing the true image of what is called “Western civilization.”
On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani condemned the repression practiced by the against students and professors in solidarity with the Palestinian people in American universities, stressing that American officials do not have the moral competence to comment on human rights, women’s rights, and freedom of expression around the world.
