Qatar’s Acting Ambassador Congratulates Syria on Sanctions Lift

Minister of Finance, Mohammad Yassar Barniyah, received the Acting Ambassador of Qatar Mr. Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud. In a courtesy visit to congratulate Syria on the lifting of international sanctions.

According to the Ministry of Finance’s official website, the meeting included discussions on joint investment projects and ways to support the restoration of international relations and boost economic cooperation.

Additionally, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mrs. Hind Qabawat met with Qatar’s Acting Ambassador to Syria, Mr. Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.

The two sides discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in social and humanitarian fields.
