Qatari Foreign Ministry: The Israeli raid on Damascus is a blatant aggression against Syria’s sovereignty and a serious violation of international law

The state of Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus, stressing that it is a blatant aggression against the sovereignty of Syria and a serious violation of international law.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated in a statement today the state of Qatar’s warning that the occupation’s repeated attacks on Syria and Lebanon and the continuation of its brutal war on Gaza, will blow up the violence and chaos in the region, calling on the international community to pressure Israel to comply with the resolutions of international legitimacy.
The ministry also affirmed Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and the aspirations of its people for security and stability.
