Qatar to Continue Supporting Terrorists in Syria Even if Trump Pulls US out

Qatar says it will continue to supply militant groups in Syria with arms even if US President-elect Donald Trump halts US support.

Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani made the remarks on Saturday in relation to Trump’s recent remarks signaling that he is opposed to the US’s support for anti-Syrian government militant groups, according to Press TV.

Trump has also suggested that he might even side with Russia in their fight against Daesh in Syria.

Thani stressed that Qatar still wants the US’s support as they have always been allies. “But if they want to change their minds, we are going to change our position.”

Developments on ground have confirmed that since the beginning of the so-called “Arab Spring”, Qatar formed the basic incubator and supporter for terrorist organizations. It sought implementing sinister schemes that target the region’s unity, security and stability and dedicated its financial resources and media outlets to help the terrorists implement the agenda that serves the American-Zionist interests in the region.
