Qasad groups imposes siege on towns in the countryside of Deir al-Zour

Deir al-Zour, (ST) – The “Qasad” (SDF) groups supported by the American occupation forces imposed a siege on the towns of Al-Shaheil, Basra, Hawaij and Zeban in the countryside of Deir al-Zour and prevented the residents from entering or leaving, after the expansion of the protest demonstrations calling for the expulsion of those groups and the American occupation forces.

Civil sources reported to SANA that the “Qasad” (SDF) groups associated with the American occupation forces besieged the towns of Al-Shuhail, Al-Basra, Al-Hawaij and Zeban in the countryside of Deir al-Zour and closed all its entrances completely. They prevented the residents from entering and leaving their towns in an attempt to control the protests taking place in several villages and towns of Deir al-Zour countryside and demanding the expulsion “Qasad” groupswho are carrying out criminal practices against the people of the region.

The sources pointed out that the villages and towns of ZebanJdeid AkkidatJadid Bakara, Al-TayyanaSabha, Abu Al-Nateel, Al-Shuhail, and Shanan are witnessing a state of popular anger against the “Qasad” groupswho yesterday fired live bullets at the demonstrators. The protesters managed to control the weapons and cars of the Qasad groups and captured a number of its members  before  the group brought in reinforcements from the city of Al-Shaddadi and the towns of Sousse, Al-Baghuz and Haqel al-Omar, which is the main headquarters of the American occupation forces.All of this was accompanied with intensive flights of the occupation planes.

Yesterday, a civilian was killed and several others were wounded by the “Qasad (SDFgroup’s fire, in parallel with the protest demonstrations that included several villages in the countryside of alZour. The people demanded during the demonstrations the expulsion of the “Qasad groups and the American occupation forces from their villages and towns.
