Qalibaf: What Ukraine is witnessing is caused by Washington’s policies

Head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, stressed that the reason for what Ukraine is witnessing is due to the American policies based on fabricating crises in order to guarantee its interests.

Qalibaf said during today’s Shura Council session, “We believe that measures must be taken to address the roots of the crisis on a permanent basis, especially since creating tension and providing the ground for sowing differences between countries and nations is part of the nature of the American presence,” noting that the survival of the hegemony of the American regime today depends on igniting the fire of war in all parts of the world while the US is violating human rights.

Qalibaf pointed out that the Iranian people are among the victims of US hostile policies, and from this standpoint, the Iranian people want to establish sustainable peace, resolve tensions, end wars in the world, and oppose harm to women, children and civilians.
