Qalibaf: Consultations are taking place to support the Palestinian people

Tehran,(ST)- The Head of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, announced that consultations are taking place with the heads of parliaments of Islamic countries to discuss providing immediate support to the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli aggression.

IRNA quoted Qalibaf as saying in the open session of the Islamic Shura Council on Tuesday: “Palestine was, is and will remain the issue of the Islamic world throughout time, and there is no doubt that the necessary support will be provided to the Palestinian people until they obtain their rights and the necessary measures will be taken in this regard.”

Qalibaf indicated that consultations are currently underway with Islamic countries to provide the necessary support and stand against the crimes committed against the Palestinians by the Israeli occupation.
