Qaderi affirms need for NGOs’ cooperation with International organizations within state’s standards

TARTOUS, (ST)_Minister of Social Affairs Rima al-Qaderi has affirmed the importance of cooperation between NGOs and the international organizations within the framework of standards set up by the Syrian states to enhance relation with society.

She disclosed that the ministry will establish a Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations with branches in all Syrian provinces. “The ministry attaches great importance to the civil sector in order to offer community services that enhance Syrian people’s steadfastness alongside the Syrian Arab army in confronting the current crisis.”

 

Al-Qaderi added that the ministry of Social Affairs reactivated the National Central Council of People with Disabilities, according to the official news agency (SANA).

Her remarks came during today’s meeting with heads of the NGOs and the Syrian Red Crescent Organization in Tartous.

On the other hand, the minister visited homes of 8 martyrs’ families in Safita and Tartous and inspected the building of social affairs in the province of Tartous.
