Pyongyang strongly condemns the US aggression on Deir Ezzor
On March 1st, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) strongly condemned the US aggression on areas in Deir Ezzor near the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The DPRK embassy in Damascus issued a statement saying that “the American raids on the Abu Kamal area in the governorate of Deir Ezzor on February 25thare an aggression on Syrian territory and a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.This raid is aimed at supporting terrorists and preventing the crisis in the country from being resolved.”
The statement reaffirmed the DPRK’s support for Syria in protecting its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
