Putin: Ukraine has lost its sovereignty after it became a tool in the hands of America

Moscow, (ST) – Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that Ukraine has practically lost its sovereignty after it became a tool in the hands of America. He added that some parties are trying to maintain hegemony in any form, despite the fact that the world has become multipolar.

“Ukraine has become an instrument of American foreign policy, as the country has practically lost its sovereignty and the United States directly controls it,Putin said during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Security and Intelligence Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States on Wednesday.

President Putin stressed that the potential for conflict in the world and the region is still very high.

Putin added that the United States is using Ukraine to create a racket against Russia and against our United State with the Republic of Belarus, against the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Commonwealth of Independent States as a whole. He said that Ukrainian territory has been turned into a biological testing arena as it is pumped with weapons.
