Putin to “Bin Zayed”: Russian-Emirati relations are distinguished

Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed, during his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is visiting Russia, that the relations between the two countries are distinguished and in the interest of both parties.

During talks held by the two presidents today, according to Russia Today, Putin expressed his thanks to his guest for his contribution to resolving a number of humanitarian issues within the framework of the Ukrainian conflict regarding the exchange of prisoners.

In turn, Mohammed bin Zayed indicated that cooperation in the private and government sectors plays a major role between the two countries and that tourism between the UAE and Russia has developed significantly, and there is an aspiration to reach one million Russian tourists this year.

Bin Zayed also expressed his appreciation to President Putin for the invitation to visit Russia, and for welcoming Emirati companies in Petersburg.
