Putin: Russia is committed to continuing to develop its relations with African countries

Petersburg (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that Russia is committed to continuing to develop relations with African countries, to trade and invest with them, and to assist them in combating poverty.

In a speech to the participants in the Russian-African Economic and Humanitarian Forum, Putin said that today Africa has become one of the poles of the emerging multipolar world, and Russia will continue to assist African countries in strengthening their sovereignty and increase their participation in resolving regional and international issues.
