Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with permanent members of the Russian Security Council the situation in Idleb governorate and the impact of the Coronavirus on the world economy.
Sputnik news agency quoted the spokesman for the Russian presidency Dimitry Peskov as saying that the tense situation in Idleb governorate resulting from the acts of the terrorist organization was reviewed during the meeting. He added that the possible impact of the Coronavirus on the track of world economy was also discussed.
Earlier, Peskov affirmed that the Syrian army is fighting terrorism on its soil, and this is a sovereign right for the Syrian state.
