Putin renews calls for lifting the US unilateral measures imposed on Syria.

Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin has renewed calls to lift the US unilateral measures being imposed on Syria. 

Sputnik News Agency said that Putin affirmed during his participation in Valdai Discussion Club through video conference, the necessity for lifting the measures stressing the importance of helping the Syrian people and meeting their national medical needs, especially in light of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The US and the European Union have been imposing unilateral coercive measures that target the livelihood of Syrian people, because of the firm Syrian stands in confrontation of their colonialist plans.

Putin also referred to the change of the world order and the end of the US hegemony, calling on Washington to conduct dialogue with Beijing.
