MOSCOW- Russian President Vladimir Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have held a telephone conversation, discussing the Syrian issue, the Kremlin press service said in a statement on Wednesday, according to Itar Tass.
According to the statement, the two presidents thoroughly discussed the Syria issue in light of agreements to form a constitutional committee that had been reached in Istanbul on October 27, 2018.
Putin and Macron also exchanged views “on the domestic crisis in Ukraine, taking into consideration the provocation Kiev staged in the Kerch Strait on November 25, 2018.”
