Putin, former Kazakh counterpart discuss situation in Syria

MOSCOW, (ST)- The situation in Syria and the process of reaching political settlement of the crisis in the country was the theme of the phone call made on Saturday between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The two sides also discussed issues connected to Nazarbayev’s forthcoming visit to Moscow.

They exchanged views on pressing bilateral and international issues, including the results of the recent discussions held between President Putin and President of the Turkish regime in Moscow on Syria’s Idleb, according to the press office of the former Kazakh President.
