Moscow (ST): Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed the situation in Ukraine against the backdrop of the implementation of the Russian special military operation there to protect the residents of the Donbas region.
The Russian presidency said in a statement today: President Putin had a telephone conversation with Mirziyoyev, during which they discussed the developments of the situation in light of the implementation of the Russian military operation to protect civilians in Donbas, as well as the disarmament of Ukraine and rid it of National intolerance.
Putin had discussed with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, during a phone call, developments related to the Ukrainian crisis, where he affirmed Russia’s readiness to hold high-level negotiations with Ukraine in Minsk.
