On April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the situation in Syria.
“ Putin and Erdogan exchanged detailed views on the situation in Syria, including the progress of implementing agreements in the Idlib region to reduce escalation, especially the additional protocol that was concluded on March 5 in Moscow and attached to the Sochi memo on 17 September, 2018,” Russia Today website quoted the Kremlin as saying in a statement
“ During the phone call , the two sides expressed their unconditional commitment to the principle of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic,” the Kremlin statement added.
The Turkish regime continues to support its terrorist mercenaries, especially in Idlib, and its failure to adhere to the agreements and understandings reached on the situation there that affirm Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and to continue combating terrorism until its final elimination.
