Putin appoints a new delegate to the OPCW

Moscow, (ST) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday signed a decree appointing Vladimir Tarabrin as Russia’s new ambassador to the Netherlands and Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

RT website reported that it had officially published a presidential decree in this regard.

Putin also signed another decree regarding the dismissal of Alexander Shulgin from these two positions.

Vladimir Tarabrin has served as Director of the Department of New Challenges and Threats at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2019,
