Pushilin calls for the start of a new phase of the military operation after the liberation of Donetsk

The President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin called for the start of a new phase of the Russian special military operation to protect Donbass after the completion of the liberation of Donetsk.

Ria News Agency quoted Pushilin as saying: “The pace at which the (military) operation reaches our borders is important for us in order to launch the next phase which is needed after what we witnessed in Transnistria and Russia border regions.”

On the other hand, Pushilin revealed that the Ukrainian soldiers besieged in the Azovstal steel plant  in Mariupol refuse to be evacuated to the areas under the control of Kiev and demand their exit to Turkey, pointing at the same time to the suffering experienced by the people of Mariupol as a result of the practices of Ukrainian nationalists.
