The Water Company in Hasakah started pumping drinking water towards Al-Nashwa neighborhood in the city of Al-Hasakah, 6 months after the Turkish occupier cut off the water, and stopped pumping from Alouk water station.
The director of Hasakah water establishment Mahmoud Okla stated that the main water collection tanks at Al-Hamma station were filled from the quantities of water received from the Alouk wells station, after they were put into operation after the Turkish occupier stopped pumping since the beginning of November of last year.
He added that the the water through the water transmission lines from Alouk to Al-Himma is still weak due to the insufficient number of horizontal pumps operating.
He stressed that the Company’s workshops did not enter the Alouk well station to see its situation, especially since the station has been suspended since the beginning of November last year.
He called for the necessity of handing over the Alouk station completely to the employees of the Company to ensure the continuation of water pumping towards the neighborhoods of the city of Hasakah without any interruption and maintenance for it.
