Public Establishment for Drinking Water re-pumps water to the city of Hasakah

Hasakah , (ST) – Yesterday, the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah began pumping water to the neighborhoods of the city of Al-Hasakah according to the approved rationing program. This came after a 9 day hiatus due to terrorist attacks on electric lines feeding the Allouk water station supplying the city.

The Director General of Water, Engineer Mahmoud Okla, stated to SANA that the number of wells operating at the station is 24 wells and 4 pumps, which ensures stability of pumping operations in the event that the electrical supply continues.

In another context, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation caused the disconnection of the electric current from the Alouk station as a result of attacks on the electric line feeding the station .This line is used to operate agricultural engines for the crops in the agricultural lands seized from the local population, which increases the loads on the electric line and separates the electrical supply from the line from the main station is in the city of Ad-Darbasiyah.
