PSL-Wahda edge out Nawaeer

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Wahda, the powerhouse club of Damascus, have edged out Nawaeer  1-0 in the Professional Soccer League 7th round 2nd leg at the Tishreen stadium.

 

Striker Mohammad Hamdkou scored the winning goal in the 64th minute.

With this win, Wahda lifted up their tally to 15 points.

Elsewhere, Nidal beat Jihad 2-0 at the Faiha stadium.

Mu’taz Yussuf scored twice for Nidal.

Muhafaza, newly promoted to first division, beat Karama 3-0.

Hani Dahan opened the scoring in the 16th minute .As’ad Khader made it 2-0 in the 46th minute. Muhanad Hariri wrapped up the series of goals in the 66th minute.

Earlier, Musfat banias beat Hutteen 1-0.

Ali Khalil scored the winning goal .
