DAMASCUS,(ST)-In a postponed match of the Professional Soccer League 3rd week,Musfat Banyas beat Omaya 2-0 at the Tishreen Stadium in Damascus.

Musfat striker Abdul Ilah Hafyan broke the deadlock in the 18st minute with a powerful drive just outside the penalty box.

Veteran Akram Ali added the second .

With this win,Musfat left their tally to 13 points. Four points behind leaders Al-Jaish.

It is worth noting that the closing round of Group B match is scheduled to be held today where Ittihad will take on Omaya at the Faiha Stadium in Damascus.
