PSL-Musfat Banias hold Futuwa

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Futuwa were held to a goalless draw by Musfat Banias in the Professional Soccer League G B at the Muhafaza stadium.

Both teams appeared in a poor shape squandering so many clear chances.

Elsewhere, Jihad  and Nawaeer were held to a 2-2 draw at the Faiha stadium.

Nawaeer dominated much of the first half and were able to produce two goals through veteran striker Yamen Aboud.

In the 82 minute,Jihad cut the lead through Jamal Darwish

One minute before the final whistle, Ibrahim Ali notched up the equalizer .

Nidal, the Damascus-based club,have deservedly beaten Karama 2-0 at the Tishreen stadium.

The first half ended in a stalemate.

Early in the second half, striker Mohammad Adra put his side in the lead .

Ahmad Jawabra made it 2-0 in the 82 minute.

Points position to date-G B:

Futuwa 8, Wahda 6, Jihad 6, Muhafaza, Musfat Banias and Muhafaza four points each, Nawaeer 3, Karama 3 and finally Hutteen with only two points.
