PSL:Karama beat Ittihad 2-1

DAMASCUS,(ST)-Karama,the powerhouse club of Damascus, have edged out Ittihad 2-1 in the Professional Soccer League 2nd leg 4th round at the sporting complex of Lattakia.

The first half ended in a stalemate.

Early in the second half,AbdulLatifSalqini put Ittihad in the lead with a close-range shot.ThenKarama relentlessly tried to amend the score till they succeeded in the 60thminte through Maher Burazi .

 

Five minutes into the final whistle,Karama striker AmroJiniat hit home to give his side the three precious points they are in dire need to.

 In other actions,Jableh beat Futuwa 1-0  at the Jableh stadium.

Hameed Othman scored the winning goal in the 8th minute.

Elsewhere,Hutteen kept their hopes alive to stay in the first division as they defeated Taleeaa 1-0 at the Bassel stadium in Lattakia.

Hutteen’s solo goal was scored by Mohammad Jafar in the 15th minute .

With this win,Hutteen lifted up their tally to 10 points.

Wahda drew with their neighboursMuhafaza at the Sporting complex in Lattakia.

Points position of group A after the end of the 4thround:Jaish 25,Wahda 21,Muhafaza 18,Taleeaa 16,Karama 15,Jazeera 13,Ittihad 13,Hutteen 10 and finally Futuwa with only six points.
