PSL-Jaish beat Tishreen 2-0

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Jaish, the power-house club of Damascus, have deservedly beaten Tishreen 2-0 in the Professional Soccer League 2nd leg 2nd round Group A at the Majd stadium.

Sameer Bilal and Ezz Eddin Awad scored for Jaish (52-90).

 

With this win, Jaish lifted up their tally to 23 points .

Elsewhere, Shurta compensated their loss to Majd 1-2 in the previous round as they beat Taleeaa 2-0 at the Muhafaza stadium.

Majd continued their impressive performances as they  beat Jableh 2-1 at the Muhafaza stadium.

Anas Qaram and Raja Rafi’ scored for Majd (23-92) while Mahmoud al-Bahr scored for Jableh in the 67th minute.

At the Majd stadium, Ittihad were held to a goalless draw by Wathba.

Points position to date-G A:

Jaish 23, Shurta 21, Majd 18 , Tishreen 16, Ittihad 14, Taleeaa 12, Wathba 9, Jazeera 4 and finally Jableh with three points only.
