DAMASCUS,(ST)-Jaish,the Damascus –based club, have beaten Talee”a 1-0 in a postponed match of the Professional Soccer League2nd round at Tishreen stadium in Damascus.

Early in the first half, striker Mohammad Hamdko put his side in the lead with a close-range shot.

In turn,Talee’a tried relentlessly to amend the score but to no avail.

With this win,Jaish remained at the top of Group A with 18 points.

Points position to date-Group A

Jaish 18;Wahda 14;Talee’a 12;Muhafaza 11;Karama 10;Jazeera 9;Ittihad 8,Hutteen 6 and finally Futuwa with three points only.

N.B

Wahda will take on Karama on April 26 in a postponed match.
