PSL: Jaish beat Jazeera
DAMASCUS,(ST)-Jaish have edged out Jazeera 2-1 in the Professional Soccer League 2nd leg 3rd round at the Bassel stadium in Lattakia.
Striker Mohammad Akkad broke the deadlock 46th minute while Mohammad Zubaida scored the second goal.
Jazeera Saeed Birou hit home in the 77th minute.
With this win, Jaish lifted up their tally to 25 points .
In other actions, Taleeaa have deservedly beaten Wahda 3-2 at the Jableh stadium only to lift up their tally to 16 points.
Veteran striker Majid Haj put his side in the lead in the 15th minute. Ali Diab made it 2-0 in the 38th minute.
Kalid Mubayed scored twice (42, 59) and the third goal went to Abdul Malik Oneizan (24).
Muhafaza snatched three precious points as they defeated Karama 2-1 at the Bassel stadium.
Muhafaza striker MuhanadKharat opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Husam Bawadiqji made it 2-0 in the 70thminute .
Ittihad thrashed Futuwa 4-0 at the sporting complex of Lattakia.
Abdul Lattif Silqini, Mohammad Ghabash and Husam eddin Amro scored for Ittihad (25, 63, 83).
